Dear MK-User,

The following four titles can be found in the MK422:
1541. Mariage d'amour ("Marriage for love") is a piece of French solo piano music composed in 1978 by Paul de Senneville and premiered in 1979 by pianist Richard Clayderman from his album Lettre A Ma Mere. Richard Clayderman (*1953) is a French pianist. The music composed for him appeals to the public, is entertaining and is often understood as “romantic”. The piece was written in the key of G minor. At a tempo of around 72-75 BPM, the time signature changes several times, starting with 4/4, then on to 5/4 and 3/4, and then back to 4/4. It has the following chord progression: Gm-Cm-F-Bb-D7. There are a total of 6 versions: KEY1+2, PNO1+2 and ORG1+2, which are all identical in scope and only the keys and accompaniment differ. The originals are VERSIONS-2 with Clayderman accompaniment.

1542. Bésame mucho is a famous love song in modern music history that has been interpreted in different musical styles. It was composed by the Mexican composer Consuelo Velázquez (1916-2005), who also wrote the lyrics, and was published and first recorded in 1941. The song became an international hit and a jazz standard. Alexandra Maria Ilieva (*1977) is a Bulgarian singer, songwriter and producer. She is considered one of the most successful singers on the contemporary Bulgarian music scene. In the last 20+ years of active solo career she has released over 30 hit singles, two award-winning studio albums, one maxi-single and one greatest hits album. She has received over 40 awards for music and style.

1543. Mexican Road Race is a musical homage to the Carrera Panamericana, a car race on public roads in Mexico, similar to the Mille Miglia and Targa Florio in Italy. Herbert "Herb" Alpert (born March 31, 1935 in Los Angeles, California) is an American trumpeter, musician and founder of the record label A&M Records. He had some big instrumental hits with his band The Tijuana Brass in the 1960s. The first success was The Lonely Bull 1962, followed by Tijuana Taxi, Spanish Flea, A Taste of Honey and many others. Alpert is considered the creator of the Tijuana brass sound, which combines traditional Mexican playing with jazz and funk. Then in 1968 came his first vocal hit This Guy's in Love with You, which reached number one on the US singles chart on June 22, 1968 and held that position for four weeks.

1544. Albinoni Adagio version of CLAUDIA HIRSCHFELD's CD "Spectrum" first appeared as my organ version in the magazine OKEY-No.34 from May-June 2000. Claudia perfectly understood this true classical jewel in the sound of ours new millennium! Personally, however, the piece inspired me much earlier: I wrote it down as MWP No. 380 in KEY1+2 versions in 1995 as a beautiful panpipe version by DINU RADU. The variety of Albinoni Adagio versions is huge - not to the detriment of my MWP users! Short playing hint: The intro with solo octaves in the UM should definitely be played one octave lower and quite loud. If possible, the bass that deviates from the fundamental tone should not be played "automatically" but with the foot bass. Or play with "Left-First" style circuitry on keyboards!
